Basic Bruker C13 NMR Tutorial

In the Xwinnmr program, click on the 'Window' menu and choose 'Plot-Editor'.
LOAD THE DATA SET:
Click the 'XWIN-NMR' menu and choose 'Get current data set'.
Click the 'XWIN-NMR' menu and choose 'XWIN-NMR Interface'. Click the 'create parameter
list' button. Click the 'create peak list' button. Do not click 'create integrals' button, because
this will negate any changes you made to peak integrations when processing the spectrum. Click
the 'Close' button.
CREATE THE PLOT:
Click the PEAK button (looks like miniature peaks). Now click and hold on the blank page. Move the mouse to draw a square and release the mouse button. The spectrum will appear in the square. You can now resize the spectrum by using the 'handles' cursors or move the spectrum by clicking and holding the middle mouse button on it.
Right click on the spectrum and a menu will appear. Choose 'Edit'. Make sure that red checkmarks appear near 'Show Peaks', 'Show Integrals', and 'Show Integral Labels'. Click 'Apply', and then click 'Cancel'.
Right click on the spectrum and resize the spectrum and peak labels to fit inside the margins on the page.
Click the DATA LIST button (looks like miniature text) and then click on the page. Use the middle mouse button to move the data list to fit inside the margins on the page.
Use the mouse to resize the spectrum so that both the spectrum and data list fit in the margins.
Note that the data list is a fixed size.
PRINTING THE SPECTRUM:
Click the 'File' menu and choose 'Print'. Click the 'Print' button to send the plot to the laser
printer.
