All departments require undergraduate transcripts and a completed bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
A non-refundable fee of
$35 for domestic students or $60 for international students is due with the application.
Non-Degree seeking students are exempt from paying the application fee.
You may mail a check made out to Pittsburg State University to the Pittsburg State University Graduate School at 1701 S. Broadway, 112 Russ Hall, Pittsburg, KS 66762 or call the Graduate Office at 620-235-4223 with credit card information.
International students should refer to the International student web site for additional information. A TOEFL score of 520/68 or above or an IELTS score of 6.0 or above is required for all departments unless stated otherwise. A minimum score of 6.0 in each band of the IELTS is required. If a lower score is earned in any of the five band scores, the overall score cannot be accepted.
Applicants should note that this is not an inclusive list of all requirements; individuals should check with each department for more information.

The GMAT with a minimum score of 400 is required. For unconditional admission, you must submit a minimum of 1050 points based on the following formula: 200 times the overall undergraduate GPA plus the GMAT score
FOR EXAMPLE if a student has an undergraduate GPA of 3.00, a GMAT score of 450 so points would add up to 1050 like this:
(3.00 x 200) + 450=1050
No matter how high the student's GPA, GMAT must be no lower than 400

One can matriculate into the programs at three different times: Fall, Spring, or Summer. Application deadlines are: Summer or Fall Admission, March 1st; and Spring Admission, October 1st. Applications for M. S. in Clinical Psychology are normally accepted for Fall admission. Applications will be considered for Spring admission, but please note that this will extend the student's program of study by one semester. Normally applications that remain inactive for more than 30 days or that are incomplete after the next application deadline are considered no longer active and will be denied.
