The Office of Continuing and Graduate Studies sponsored a random prize giveaway for students that completed an online survey regarding their experiences taking internet courses during the summer of 2006. Due to the overwhelmingly positive survey responses, additional online classes are being established for upcoming semesters. Dr. Brenda Frieden (left), Special Services and Leadership Studies professor and Blackboard Administrator; and Dr. Joe Arruda (right), Biology professor and online instructor; congratulate the iPod winners Ryan Adams, senior History major; and Shannon Smith, senior in Recreation; and offer thanks for the students’ participation in the survey.
(Winners not pictured: Christina O'Brien, senior in Education; and Michael Wyczynski, senior in Psychlogy.)

Off Campus programs are designed around working students who wish to further their education by seeking a degree in their chosen field of study. By enrolling in an off campus program, students can enjoy the benefits of less travel time and expense and still receive a quality education. Courses of study are offered at the following locations:
Kansas City Metro Center - serving the greater Kansas City metro area in both Kansas and Missouri
Galena, Kansas - serving southeast Kansas, southwest Missourri, and northeast Oklahoma
Carthage, Missouri - serving community cities and towns in southwest Missouri
Wichita, Kansas - serving Wichita and the surrounding communities in Harvey, McPherson, Sedgwick, and Butler counties
All courses are scheduled in the evening hours on weekdays for the fall and spring offerings. Some programs hold classes during the day for the summer session while others continue with evening classes.
For more information about off campus programs, please call Continuing and Graduate Studies at 620/235-4223.
