Master of Science Degree with a Major in Technology Education

back

The option in Technology Education provides a core of technological, technical, philosophical and basic research courses to prepare candidates for elective options in supervision, curriculum and instruction, community college teaching, research and preparatory work for advanced graduate study.  Candidates for this degree must have a Bachelor of Science degree with an undergraduate major in Technology Education, Industrial Arts or Industrial Education from an accredited institution.  Any determined deficiencies must be eliminated prior to the granting of the advanced degree.

The Technology Education option requires the completion of (1) a required graduate core, (2) an option sequence and (3) additional technical/technology courses selected in consultation with the student's advisor.
