Master of Arts Degree
The University offers the Master of Arts degree in Art, Communication, English, History, and Teaching. The Master of Arts Degree (MAT) with a Major in Teaching is designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree in disciplines other than teaching. The MAT will provide instruction regarding methods of teaching to students that already have their content expertise through their bachelor’s degree.
Master of Business Administration Degree
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is a professional program which prepares students for careers in management. Concentrations are offered in accounting, general administration and international business. A maximum of 64 semesters hours and a minimum of 34 semester hours of graduate courses are required depending upon the undergraduate background of the student.
Master of Engineering Technology Degree
The Department of Engineering Technology offers courses leading to a Master of Engineering Technology degree with a specialization in construction, electronics, manufacturing, mechanical or plastics. This graduate program is a professional multi-disciplinary team and project-oriented approach to graduate education. Emphasis is placed on “real-world” activities, projects and interactions.
Master of Music Degree
The Master of Music degree provides instruction and inspiration to students whose professional goals include the creation, performance, critical assessment and teaching of music. A number of emphases are available within this program including Performance, Education, Conducting, and Pedagogy.
Master of Science Degree
The Master of Science degree offers the widest variety of majors available at the university. It permits students the flexibility to study in specialized fields that meet their professional needs. Research options and degree requirements are specific to each major.
Master of Science in Nursing
The Master of Science in Nursing degree is offered with a major in nursing. A number of emphases are available within the program.
