Join us in celebrating and recognizing the American Library Associations' Banned Books Week from September 24th to September 30th 2017. Leonard H. Axe Library will have a variety of events, by professors and students, to help raise awareness to different forms of censorship and tools to combat such efforts.

This Wednesday September 27th at 3pm in Axe Library Room 115, join us for a discussion on Darwin and the Curriculum. This round table discussion will be lead by PSU professors, Jim McBain, Don Viney and Chris Childers. The panel will give a short overview of the challenges to Darwin, his writing, and more recent challenges to curricular content.  Attendees are encouraged to ask questions regarding the impact on curriculum, science education, government's role, etc.
