Chris Norman Ensemble
The Chris Norman Ensemble is a quartet presenting a broad range of music that centers on the traditional music of Maritime Canada, Quebec and the traditions that have nourished it: dance, airs and songs of Scotland, Ireland, Brittany, the U.S. and points of contact between music of the Scottish renaissance and baroque with Canada's own traditional music, as well as the contemporary compositions of Chris Norman.
Dazzling arrangements featuring one of the finest traditional flute players o four time with pipes, whistle, guitar, mandola, bass, percussion, keyboards and vocals bring music bursting to life, leaving audiences with a deeper appreciation of how traditional music sings across the centuries with timeless beauty, wit and vitality.
