Students for Violence Prevention (SVP) presents, Sex in the Ballroom, an educational program focusing on safer sex, healthy sexuality, sexual health, sexual communication, and healthy relationships. Sex in the Ballroom is diverse, inclusive, and accessible for every student. Students for Violence Prevention believes every student deserves intersectional, LGBTQIAP+ inclusive, trauma-informed, shame free, pleasure focused, consent-based sex education.
Sex in the Ballroom will take place on Tuesday February 13 at 7:00pm in the Crimson and Gold Ballroom in the Overman Student Center at Pittsburg State University.
Students will be able to participate in discussions and activities led by Peer Educators, Community Groups, and Student Organizations on the topics such as local resources, sexual health, condom demonstrations, sexual communication, pleasure, masturbation, sex toys, kink, healthy relationships, gender and sexuality, and more! Students will receive tickets for each activity they participate in that can be redeemed at the Condom & Lube Buffet.
During the second half of the evening, students will be able to anonymously text in questions about sex and relationships to a panel of “Sexperts.”
