The Korean Student Association at Pittsburg State University will present Korean Culture Day on Wednesday, April 4, at 6 p.m.
The evening will begin at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts, 1711 S Homer, with a variety of traditional and contemporary Korean performances, such as, the Fan Dance, K-Pop singing and dancing, Nanta (Korean non-verbal comedy), Samulnori (Korean percussion), and Taekwondo (Korean martial arts). The performances are free and tickets are not required to attend.
Following the performances, a Korean meal featuring Bibimbap, a traditional Korean dish, will be served at the Wilkinson Alumni Center, 401 E Ford, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the meal are $5 and can be purchased in the Office of International Programs and Services, 118 Whitesitt Hall (cash only).
The event is open to the community.
