Steve Liggett: Living Arts of Tulsa, Juror
The Department of Art in cooperation with the Office of Student Diversity has organized a national juried exhibit that will bring into view a variety of perspectives and experiences related to the challenges and triumphs of multicultural diversity.
The juror Steve Liggett will select awards for a solo exhibit in the University Gallery during November, 2014, a $100.00 Friends of the Gallery Award, and a $100.00 Roberta Farrell Immigration Attorney Cash Award. The Office of Student Diversity selects their $500.00 Purchase Award.
Steve Liggett has been an arts advocate and artist in the Tulsa community for over 40 years. In 2001 he received the Harwelden Award for recognition of his art leadership in the Tulsa community. His formal education is from the University of Tulsa and he holds a Master of Arts degree with a concentration in Ceramics. He has served as the Artistic Director for Living Arts of Tulsa since 1993. www.livingarts.org
