The Indian Student Association at Pittsburg State University will host Diwali, the festival of lights, on Saturday, November 4, starting at 5 p.m. in the Crimson and Gold Ballroom in the Overman Student Center.
There will be live music, dance performances, and a chance to learn about this festival and experience Indian culture. The cultural program is free and open to the community.
Immediately following the performances, a traditional Indian buffet with a variety of dishes will be served. The dinner is $15 and tickets must be purchased in advance.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display.
