Mission Statement

Mission Statement: The mission of the Controller's Office is to participate as an active partner in fulfilling Pittsburg State University's mission of teaching, scholarship and service by planning, developing, and providing professional accounting, financial services and support by: 1) collecting and disbursing funds, 2) maintaining accounting records, 3) providing internal control, financial management reporting and consulting services in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, laws and statutes to university and state administrators, the federal government, departments, faculty, staff, students and other university constituents.

Vision Statement: Provide financial services timely and accurately in a totally automated environment, while maintaining a friendly, helpful atmosphere.
