Sales and Withholding Tax WorkshopLooking for a way to ease the time you spend filing tax reports? This seminar, conducted by Ron Grant, Kansas Department of Revenue, Taxpayer Education Unit of Topeka, will cover two key areas: Kansas's withholding tax and sales tax. You’ll gain a basic understanding of your tax responsibilities, recordkeeping & filing requirements, and form preparation. Registration Fee: $25 per person. Advance registration required.

Individuals providing plumbing, carpentry, electrical, roofing, heating/air conditioning, etc., services will want to attend this seminar. Specifically the workshop will address sales tax on materials and labor, Project Exemption Certificates, sales tax returns, billing and related issues.
