Classified Senate Attendance Guidelines
Classified Senators: All Classified Senators have advance approval to attend senate and committee meetings. A list of elected senators will be given by the Classified Senate President to the University Assistant to the President. All supervisors and unit heads will be given the list of classified senators prior to the first classified senate meeting of the academic year from the Assistant to the
President.
Interested Classified Staff Who Are Not Senators: Other interested classified staff may attend with prior approval of their direct supervisor. A supervisor may deny attendance if the requesting person is needed to fulfill job responsibilities. A supervisor may also deny attendance for abuse of the attendance privilege.
