    "All Arts and Sciences faculty and staff are welcome on a daily walk-in basis for assistance with software. You may also call me to set up an appointment or to inquire if help is available for particular software. If you have other training topics that you would like to see offered, please email me.

    Also available is a 'Faculty Training in ANGEL' resource area that you can access through our ANGEL system. This resource contains helpful hints that include getting your course setup, using the ANGEL system, and the ANGEL workshop handouts. This resource is updated throughout the semester with new information and hints. If you would like to be enrolled, please email me. "

SMART Board Presentation February 15, Friday  

Learn about integrating technology into the classroom by using the SMART Board interactive whiteboard. The capabilities and classroom use of the SMART Board will be presented by Pat Upton from Kansas City Audio Visual.

Also demonstrated will be the Sympodium and the AirLiner wireless slate. The Sympodium is an interactive pen monitor that replaces, or can work with, the SMART Board. The AirLiner slate enables you and your students to interact wirelessly with the SMART Board or Sympodium from anywhere in the classroom.

Managing your roster, attendance, and mail in ANGEL February 19, Tuesday February 20, Wednesday

Managing your roster allows you to hide a student's information from other students (if they request it), disabling student access to your course when they drop, and use teams to assist you in entering/viewing grades and using the mail system. We will also cover the Attendance Manager and the ANGEL Mail System.

Customizing your GUS Menu, Message Village, and MrBULKE March 7, Friday  

Learn how to put the GUS menus that you use most in the center of your screen, change the order of your menus in the left hand column, add links to your 'GUS Favorites' and change the overall look of your screen.

Using and Customizing Gorilla Mail and Controlling Spam March 14, Friday  

Do you use Gorilla Mail to read your email or just when you are at a convention? Do you have difficulty quickly process your emails?
Customize your Gorilla Mail!! Learn how to utilize the additions of folders, color-code your email to help you to effectively process your email, and store those words that are really not misspelled into your personal dictionary. Also covered will be how to mark your email as Spam and quarantine it.
