Sandra Blain is Professor-Ceramics, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Director Emeritus- Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Gatlinburg. Recent awards include: Tennessee Art Education Administrator of the Year, 2001, American Craft Council Honorary Fellow, 1997, Tennessee Artists Craftsmenºs Association Honorary Member 1990. Recent Exhibitions include: The Best of Tennessee, Tennessee State Museum, Nashville. Southern Women of Influence, Louisville, KY. Permanent collections include: Alfred University, New York State College of Ceramics, Center for Art and Culture, Gent Belgium.
