Gorilla License Plate Contest Details:   May-June 2008

All new tags purchased in May and June 2008 will be entered in a drawing to be held on July 7, 2008.  Prizes will include:

1st prize:  32” Flat Panel TV 

2nd prize:  Four tickets to the Rua Skybox for the 2008 PSU Football Season 

3rd prize:  $100 Gorilla Bookstore Shopping Spree

4th prize:  Two Club Tickets to the Fall Classic VII at Arrowhead

5th prize:  PSU Goody Basket

The county with the greatest percentage of new plates purchased will have one first time incoming student chosen from their county randomly for a $1,000 scholarship.  The county with the second highest percentage of new plates purchased will have one first time incoming student chosen from their county randomly for a $500 scholarship.  The county with the third highest percentage of new plates purchased will have one first time incoming student chosen from their county randomly for a $250 scholarship.  Awards will be given out on July 8, 2008.

Any new tag purchased in May and June 2008 will not have to pay their second $30 annual royalty fee until their normal vehicle renewal date in 2009.

All renewals from 2008 will go in a drawing for prizes to be drawn on January 2, 2009.  Prizes will include:

1st prize:           Four tickets to Rua Skybox for any home game during football 2008

2nd prize:          PSU fleece blanket

3rd prize:          Framed Ted Watts print
