Admission Requirements
Paraguayan students will need to meet the regular admission requirements of Pittsburg State University for international students which include earning a TOEFL score of 520 on the paper exam or 190 or higher on the computer-based test.  Paraguayan students do not need a TOEFL score if they have scored a 21 on the ACT or a 990 on the SAT I.

The History of the Kansas and Paraguay Partnership
The Kansas Paraguay Partnership (KPP) was created in 1968, along with its Paraguayan counterpart, the Comite’ Paraguay Kansas (CPK).  Pittsburg State University has received numerous students from Paraguay over the years.  Currently, 12 students from Paraguay are pursuing degrees on the PSU campus in southeast Kansas.  In recent years, groups of PSU students have traveled to Paraguay for study abroad experiences.  The history of cooperation between the Republic of Paraguay and the State of Kansas fostered by the CPK and KPP make the expansion of cooperative programs between PSU and Paraguay an attractive opportunity for students and faculty.
