Parent Athletic Information

Any and all students interested in participating in athletics at Pitt State need to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse.  This form allows colleges and universities to contact your child.  There are different criteria for eligibility depending on the level of NCAA sport you are trying for.  Look at the NCAA Eligibility for the most current requirements.

Pittsburg State University is a member of the NCAA Division II and a member of the MIAA (Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletic Association) Conference.  We have 11 sports to choose from: 

Men’s:  Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, and Track and Field

Women’s:  Basketball, Cross Country, Softball, Track and Field, and Volleyball

Recruiting Tips:

1. Fill out Prospect Questionnaire
2. Have your child's coach contact PSU's coach
3. Send game tape for coaches to evaluate
4. Come visit campus and meet with the coaches
5. Have your child concentrate on his/her current sport.  Make sure they enjoy their senior year.
