**When scheduling a campus visit with academic appointments please call one week prior to the day you plan to visit so we may contact the advisor/professor in adequate time.

**CANCELLATIONS: If you are not able to make the visit please contact the Office of Admission so they may notify the academic departments of the cancellation.

Where should I go when I get to campus?

When you arrive on campus you should meet a representative in the Student Welcoming Center, Horace Mann Building, Room 107.

How long should I plan for the campus visit to last?

For just the campus tour and to visit with an admission representative please allow two hours on our campus. If the visit includes academic and/or athletic appointments allow at least an additional 30-45 minutes for each appointment.

Where should I park once I am on campus?

When you get to campus, you can park in any specified areas marked for visitors, blue or brown lots. Please bring your confirmation notice along with the parking pass that will be sent to you, and hang the parking pass on your rear view mirror. 

Are there any group visit days?

Pittsburg State University holds different group visit days throughout the year, like:

  • Rumble in the Jungle (Fall Senior Saturday, for high school seniors)
  • 2 Senior Days (Fall Senior Saturdays, for high school seniors)
  • Junior Jungle Day (Saturday spring visit, for high school juniors)
  • Tour Pitt State (Spring Senior Saturday, for high school seniors)
  • Technology Day (Future students interested in Technology, fall and spring)
  • Nurses's Career Day (Future students interested in Nursing, spring)
  • Business Careers Day (Future students interested in Business, fall)
  • Family & Consumer Sciences Day (Future students interested in FACS, fall)
  • Science Day (High school student competition, spring)
