To be eligible for on-campus employment, an undergraduate student must be enrolled in at least six hours per semester. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least three hours per semester to work on campus.

The Student Activities Council plans entertainment and programming each year for Pittsburg State University students. The SAC selects events from national conventions and only bring to campus the best of the best. The SAC budget is funded by student fees.
The Department of Campus Recreation contributes to the PSU experience by providing comprehensive recreation programs and facilities which foster self-discovery, learning, responsibility, engagement, sportsmanship and an appreciation for personal wellness.

Want to be involved in a fraternity or sorority? Pitt State has you covered! There are three sororities and six fraternities at PSU. The sororities are: Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Sigma. The fraternities are: Lambda Chi Alpha, Pi Kappa Alpha, Phi Sigma Kappa, Sigma Chi, Sigma Phi Epsilon and Sigma Tau Gamma.

The Student Recreation Center (Rec Center) is for the fitness, wellness and recreational needs of the Pittsburg State University students. Located southeast of main campus, the Rec Center offers a variety of fitness and recreation opportunities ranging from basketball and racquetball courts to a weight-lifting room and indoor swimming pool.
Admission to this state of the art facility and it's equipment is FREE to Pitt State students.
