Planned Giving and Major Gifts
Alumni and friends of Pittsburg State University play a vitally important role in shaping PSU's future. Through their generosity, programs and facilities are maintained and developed, opportunities are provided for students and faculty, and the future of PSU is secured. Because there are numerous methods for making current and deferred gifts to PSU, you can tailor your gifts to bring the maximum benefits to both you and the University, helping you meet your personal financial needs as well as realizing your philanthropic goals for PSU.
Listed below are many of the methods for making current or deferred gifts to PSU. Identification
The official name to be used to receive gifts is the Pittsburg State University Foundation Incorporated and the Tax Identification Number is 48-6104332. Gifts to Pittsburg State University Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the Internal Revenue Code.
The President's Society
Current donor's of $5,000 or more annually are recognized with membership in the Presidents Society. Members are listed in our annual Registry of Donors, receive special mailings and are invited to special recognition events on campus.
Pittsburg State University Foundation
Heritage Society
The Heritage Society was established to recognize those individuals who have included the PSU Foundation in their estate plans. Members receive a membership certificate, are listed in our annual Registry of Donors, and are invited to special recognition events on campus. Membership in the society can be confidential if desired.
