In our department, Bachelor of Science candidates may specialize in advertising, broadcasting, communication education, journalism, photojournalism, public relations and theatre. Master's candidates may choose either an applied track or a research track. The applied track is designed for students pursuing careers in the communication profession, while the research emphasis prepares students for doctoral work.

Broadcasting today is a challenging and complex career, and in order to meet those challenges, students must acquire sufficient education and experience. Broadcast education prepares an individual for a meaningful career in the field of electronic media.
