Biology - Bachelor of Science, Plant Physiology/Plant Molecular Biology Emphasis Overview

Type: Pre-Professional

Students may select study from a variety of emphasis areas. Aside from these program areas, you can graduate under the general biology curriculum and custom select courses to meet your interests.  The Bachelor of Science degree in Biology requires 10 hours in a foreign language.  Many students in Biology go on to medical school. Your choices can lead to a variety of possible biology careers or graduate training based on your interests. Within the Biology Major, there are nine emphases to choose from.

Plant Physiology/Plant Molecular Biology

The Plant Physiology/Plant Molecular Biology emphasis will prepare you for careers in industry or for graduate research.
