Biology - Minor Overview
The Department offers five minors to serve the needs of other majors.
The minors are: General Biology and General Science (Dr. Smith), Cell Biology (Dr. Dan. Zurek), Natural History (Dr. Cindy Ford), and Environmental Management (Dr. Joe Arruda).
- Many students from nursing, health, physical education & recreation, or elementary education take a biology minor.
- Some PE or recreation majors may be interested in the Natural History or Environmental Management minors.
- At times, students in history, business, pre-law, or technology also will consider the Environmental Management minor.
- The Cell Biology minor is designed primarily for chemistry majors looking for a more specialized biology minor with advanced coursework.
